FragmentO is a new brand of ethically designed and locally manufactured jewelry in Lisbon, using unique polished shell’s fragments collected on the beaches of Portugal, with the ambition to create a strong identity that communicates our values of natural beauty and sustainability.  A portion of our proceeds will go to funding beach cleanup efforts and plastic waste reduction around Portugal.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a commercial flair to join us at the beginning of our journey towards achieving our vision.

Job description

Development of the communication strategy

• Develop a communication and marketing strategy in collaboration with the founder

• Set objectives and monitor the results of the various actions or campaigns

• Analyzing the results of marketing activities and their commercial impact

• Organization, implementation and improvement of marketing activities

• Identify and select distribution partners

• Identify and manage social networks

• Create and update communication media: writing, photos, product sheets, collections, films, advertising campaigns, etc..

• Identify the most relevant communication channels

• Manage paid media campaigns: (google ads, meta, etc.)

Promotion and development of the Fragment0 brand

• Organize events such as beach cleanups and proactively identify other events

• Manage the website and improve the online sales funnel

• Prepare and participate in craft markets

• Identification and participation in pop-stores of other conscious brands

• Return on ad spend and promotional efforts

•  Adhere to a regular content production schedule

Autonomy and responsibility

We are looking for a real business partner who wants to experience building a brand from the ground up.

You will become a key driver for the growth of the brand and are expected to take ownership of building the Fragment0 business.  

You will be able to take autonomous action with an eye for detail and are a meticulously organized person

Internal and external relations

• Teamwork with the founder.
  External relations with customers in the markets, distribution partners, organizers of pop-stores, etc.

Working environment

• Hybrid: remote / co-working

• Regular external trips to coordinate and participate in the implementation of communication actions (photo shoot new products, markets...).

• External travel, especially related to markets and communication actions, can lead to irregular hours.

  Specific skills

• Mastering written and oral communication techniques

• Analyze and synthesize a lot of information

• Maintain and develop networks, learn and understand the key skills of marketing and communication in a sustainable business environment

• Be creative and propose original campaign ideas

• Organize and execute media campaigns

• Select and work with external service providers (advertising, press, publishing, etc.)

• Communicate with ease and diplomacy

• Negotiate with various stakeholders

• Be available, be a strong and curious listener 

• Be autonomous, take initiative

• Collect and disseminate relevant information

• Be rigorously organized

• Master statistical tools and not be afraid of numbers and spreadsheets

• Master the main office and communication tools

• Fluency in Portuguese and English and knowledge of French is a plus
