Shared apartment Student

Hi, my name is Amber, currently 22 years old and I’ll be 23 years old when my Erasmus starts in Lisbon (February 2021). I study master strategic communication at the University of Antwerp, in Belgium. 

I like traveling and meeting new people. I am a very  sociable and I like to explore new things, new challenges and new friends. I like going out, having a drink with friends and meet new people every day. 

I don't have regular hobbies, but I love snowboarding and I really enjoy water sports. I can do water skiing, wake boarding and sailing. However, surfing has been on my bucket list for a long time. And with its many surfing schools and barely 30 minutes away from the coast, Lisbon seems to be the ideal location to learn how to surf. 

I would be happy to spend my Erasmus time in an apartment or student residence with other students and peers. I believe that a nice home atmosphere is the most important step for a successful Erasmus experience. I would feel at home in a place where there is: a private room with closet, desk, an opening window, light, etc. Sharing a house with students seems to me the ideal way to get to know people. I like living in a vibrant house with a lot of social contact and being around people. But I also think it is important that I can retire to my own room if necessary.
