Why did you choose to go to Linköping, Sweden?

I chose to go to Linköping due to my summer internship in Linköping University.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Since it was a summer internship, it was three months and I received 493€/month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Linköping?

Students have very good lifestyle in Linköping. First of all you can find many ways to please yourself with the beautiful nature of Linköping. It's just wonderful. Also, you can visit many places only by walking or cycling. If you want to use public transport, I must say you should try because in Linköping, public transport is amazingly easy and explanatory for a foreigner. Linköping is like a student-city. Streets are full of young people, it makes you feel safe.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Linköping to other students?

I really recommend both the city and the University of Linköping, the quality and peace of living in Linköping is priceless.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Everyone knows and speaks English very well. So, it was very easy for me to communicate with other people. They are very kind and no matter how much you know English, they do not give up talking with you.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Linköping from your city?

From my city to Linköping, I first landed to Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Without leaving the airport, I just went to train station and took Linköping train. I had bought my train ticket in advance.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Linköping in the future?

Linköping has its own beauty and charm. It is very easy to live, enjoy and gather so many great memories in there. For those who need to choose between Linköping and any other city, I advise you to choose Linköping.
