Life in Libreville, Gabon by Tiffany.
What is it like living in Libreville? Would you recommend it? What is it like?
Libreville is a pretty town. For foreigners some parts can even seem like home because of the diversity. Life is great especially during the dry season (summer) or the holidays. During the school term, it is very hot, but it is also the time when the beaches offer the most beautiful experience.
What's the student life like in Libreville?
There are campaign groups, intellectual movements and many other such things in most of the private universities... But these students aren't very united with the only public university Omar Bongo where, paradoxically, there are strikes but the students are united.

It isn't really difficult to find accommodation in Libreville as long as you are a foreign executive, on a business trip or a foreign student or intern from a more economically-stable country. Most citizens live in unstable areas. If you want to get accommodation in Libreville, spend a lot of money.

Do you have any advice for Erasmus students going to Libreville in the future?
Safety isn't always guaranteed in Libreville. Be wary whilst driving or walking. Other than that, all will be fine!
