There is a new shopping mall but if you really want to go shopping you should do that in the center of cologne which is 10 minutes from Leverkusen by train.
In summer you can go to the cocktailbar which is in a park next to the river Rhein.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Typicall german food but also lots of fast food Restaurants.

There are lots of good Restaurants.
Dos y dos and wacht am Rhein are pretty good

Is the nightlife good in Leverkusen? Where is good to go?

There is just one club I can recommend which is the wacht am Rhein. You should definately go to cologne for partying.
