Me too I'm going to spend a semester in Leuven and I study Economics (master degree). I would like to look for a room in a university residence, any advice?? (how to apply, when, which one..)

I was thinking of finding a house/apartment share rather than University residence too as I'm hoping to find a double room ! Preferably with at least 3/4 others!

hii! my friend and I are going to Leuven next september for Erasmus, we are going to study in the KU Leuven and we are looking for an apartment to stay so i was thinking that we could be roommates. Do you have already an apartment? I'm portuguese and my friend is spanish like you Maria! and we speak english as well!

Yeah! It would be great Mariana! I don't have an aparment yet, but i think it would be appropriate to start looking for anyone, don't you think? Are your friend and you going to stay there for all the course or just one semester?

Hi everybody! I'm going to spend the next semester in Leuven too, I'm studying civil engineering. And I also think it would be better to find an apartment to share (in the center) with erasmus people! Anyone tried to find an apartment yet?

we are only going for the 1st semester..!
an apartment with erasmus students would be perfect..! we started looking for a place here in erasmusu, but no luck.. we have to pay to answer the ads, and since we still didn't get the final confirmation whether we'll be going or not, or if we'll get any kind of scholarship, we're still kinda waiting.. maybe next week we'll know for sure! (fingers crossed!)
where else can we look for apartments?!

I'm Nathalie, a student of Leuven and I'm going on Erasmus (Paris) myself in September 2012 for 1 semester. Because I really like my studio (I've seen a lot in Leuven and I really don't want to lose mine), I sublease my studio for this period (September 2012 - ~February 2013). My studio is 20m², very clean and has a little balcony (big sliding window) with view on the nice, quiet garden. You'll have your own toilet, douche and kitchen. The studio is very comfortable and fully furnished (desk, chair, wardrobe, bed, fridge, bookshelf, bedside table...) In the building with about 40 students, there is an elevator and you can place your bike in the garage (automatic gate you can open with your key). There is a common room with television and we have our own garden with barbecue. I've some nice friends on the same floor, so I can introduce you, if you want to :) We often eat, cook and go out together. My studio is perfectly located in the centre of Leuven, nearby public transport, bakery, grocer and (tip!) the best place for (Belgian specialty :D) French fries in Leuven. I am going to Leuven in September! I'm gonna spend the whole year and so I am looking for a room in a shared appartment - probably with 1, 2 or 3 other students. Any advice? Is there any website?

Hi Elina! I'm also looking for people who share a flat with. I'm also looking for a place in some residences but I'm not sure I'm gonna get any place there. Please, contact to me if you're interested!
Hi Francesco! I'm also studying Psychology! There are residences of the University all over the city that are very cheap, but I've heard it's difficult to get a place. You can look for information in the KULeuven web page.
