Software tester Internship in Leicester, United Kingdom

Company description:

Our collaborator is an international company based in Leicester, United Kingdom, offering distribution services in UK and Europe. The company is now looking for an enthusiastic IT intern to join their Projects Department to add value to the business as the company continues with their European expansion.

Starting time and duration: ASAP for minimum of 12 month

Tasks:

- Manual and automated testing of the software

- Database Management and Development

- Data analysis

- Attending business meetings

- Maintaining integrity in IT development issue tracking systems according to set procedures;

- Weekly/daily reporting as required.

Requirements:

- Bulgarian language speaker with Business Level confidence

- Good level of English

- Project management knowledge desirable but not crucial

- Required IT competencies:

- Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Regression Testing, UAT Testing

- Specification documents, Business Requirements Specifications, Test Cases, Test Planning, Test Management

- Good analytical skills

- Confident to work with data and large datasets

- Problem solving approach MS Excel – Macros, Formulae, Data Import

- Desirable IT skills:

            - K Vb.Net (basic level)

            - DB, SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services

            - Knowledge of SOAP Web Services, JSON, REST

            - Programming languages are a plus (like C# or C++)

            - Redmine, Github, TestLink

            - Microsoft Reporting Services

- Good Communication Skills

- Creative and analytical ability

- Problem-solving and Decision making ability

- Ability to work independently

 Benefits: £1000-£1200 depending on the candidate
