Generally, what is Leeds Metropolitan University like?

Leeds metropolitan university is campus based university (Headingley campus). Being a campus university it is very easy to get involved with activities that occur around campus which allows you to feel apart of the university and get involved in student life in leeds.

What are the facilities like?

Leeds met has two great libraries at both campuses. It also has a very well maintained sports track at Headingley campus along with this Leeds met also makes use of Leeds Rhinos stadium for some of their rugby games. If your a rugby player Leeds met is the ideal university. However, the gyms are very disappointing with very limited equipment and space.

What are the tutors like?

The quality of the tutors varies a lot and is very hard to generalise. I have had some tutors who will do every thing they possible can to help me but on the other hand i have some who are very unhelpful and cause more problems then they solve.

Are the lessons easy in Leeds Metropolitan University?

I believe the lessons are quite easy. If you have a good level of general knowledge you will do fine at Leeds met.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

I have not taken part in any organised activities but i am aware that there is lots of extra curricular activities to chose from. There are many clubs and sports teams whom organise there own trips and activities.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

It depends on which subject you study. As far as what i have seen i think it could be better.

Are there any stories you can share?

Many, but most aren't appropriate.
