Lecce is a very nice city, full of history, in a good position with an historic center full of beauties and entertainment opportunities.
I recommend it for an Erasmus experience.
The city is not big, so all things are near.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lecce?

The University has different buildings, not so far between them. It depends of the subject that you are studying. There are two Campus: the one in the city center, and Ecotekne (for scientific subjects).
The night you can find Always something to do, and amusing is not expensive at all.

How much does it cost to live in Lecce?

The city is not expensive at all.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lecce? Is there any advice you can give?

To find an accomodation is pretty easy. You can find many advertisement at the University and you can also look for an accomodation on Subito.it

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

That is good, the Apulian dishes are the best in the world.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lecce?

All the Cathedrals and the city center.

Is the nightlife good in Lecce? Where is good to go?

Piazzetta S. Chiara and Convitto are very crowded and full of bars and pubs.
