English Language Assistant

Langue & Nature is a company specialising in English immersion courses for professional adults and adolescents. These take place in the Château de la Mazure in the Mayenne region of North West France, near the city of Laval.

We are looking for English Language Assistants to work here during our adolescent stage in the Toussaint holiday (21st October – 3rd November). Consequently, this placement may be of particular interest to students wanting to have an experience as a language assistant or as an ‘animateur’ for adolescents.

The assistants will work with French teenagers aged between 11 and 18. They will be required to organise a range of language activities, including sports and games, and supervising the adolescents.

The company has been employing English speaking assistants for the past 30 years, and these assistant posts are great opportunities for native English speaking students who are studying French.

Language assistants should be enthusiastic, motivated, flexible and enjoy working with young adolescents. It is also essential that they are able to work under a convention de stage.
