For the relaxed lifestyle and weather as well as the short distance to the airport.

A very small amount you will need a lot of money for rent, food, etc.

What is the student lifestyle like in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria?

Relaxed and chilled, but not many from Ireland or England. Everyone was Italian and German!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

Markets are very good, like Mercado del Puerto, Mercado de Vegueta, mercadillo de Teror...

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria?

No.

How much does it cost to live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria?

Around 350/400 euros rent a month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, but not enough. It would be better to try and join more.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria?

I recommend go for tapas and beers in the old town.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the future?

Arrive early, the university is very relaxed and not the most organised.
