Why did you choose to go to Kongsberg, Norway?

I choose Kongsberg in Norway because I wanted one experience in a Scandinavian country. Kongsberg was my best option because it is a city of Engineers, so It was good to make some contacts in the field and learn with the best.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship was for my entire period there (3 months). I received 1560€ for the mentioned period, which is not even enough to pay the rent.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kongsberg?

In Kongsberg there is a very good student life. There are several parties for students in different bars. They organize a "new students" week, where they help all the students to get in touch with the city.

I'm from a Latin country, so what I understand for "being tasty" is totally different and I didn't get used to it because I cook to myself.

No, because the Buskerud University College found me a room in a students residence.

The language is very hard to learn. There are language courses for foreigners at the university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Kongsberg from your city?

The best way to travel to Kongsberg is by plane and by train. First, you have to go from Lisbon to Oslo by plane and, then, you have to go from there to Kongsberg by train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kongsberg?

I recommend going to Argus Disco Club and Privat Bar.

You can visit the Mining Museum, the waterfalls, the Ski Resort, and the lakes around the city.
