How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I didnt get any scholarship. I am not erasmusu student. My family support me with money.

What is the student lifestyle like in Klaipeda?

Student live style is good in klaipeda. we enjoy our study and also got new lithuanian friends. On holiday we always go for party or hang out with friends. In klaipeda people are friendly.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Klaipeda to other students?

Yes definitely. I recommend the klaipeda university to other students because of good environment and frankly good staff in university.

What is the food like?

I dont know much about lithuania food beacuse I like indian food so i cook myself. But here is so many Lithuania resturant in Klaipeda.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Klaipeda?

No. University arrange my accomodation on my first day in Klaipeda and rent is very cheap here

How much does it cost to live in Klaipeda?

I am living in dometary and it cost only 45 euro per month. Include internet, hot water, power. only food is seprate. You have to arrange your food yourself.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

University provide language course for us in first semester. You can learn it esaily.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Klaipeda from your city?

I am coming from india by flight. Delhi to Vilnius by plane and from vilinus to Klaipeda by bus From Vilinus to Klaipeda bus charge you 20 euro only.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Klaipeda?

I always go to club, mall or old town. There is so many bars, clubs and resturants.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Klaipeda?

I try food here in newport resturant. Its inside raddison blu hotel. or try Restoranas Meridianas. Or you can find many best resturant in old town.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

"Crafts yard" ("Menų keimas"), Arch, Monument to the United Lithuania, Drama theatre, Sculpture "Puodynė su pinigais" ("Basket with coins") and many more.....

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Klaipeda in the future?

My advice for other students if you are planning to come klaipeda plz keep your all winter cloths with you. Klaipeda is very cold city in winter. sometimes its -20 degree And may be also you face language problem here. In supermarket product name also written in lithuanian language.
