What is it like to live in Kigali? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

First of all i would like to start on location of KİGALİ. as most of people don't know many things about Africaqn countries Kigali is one of brilliant city of Rwanda which is located in the centre of Rwanda. Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda as well. well people of Rwanda are very friendly which most of the time makes it a bit easy to live in kigali. in term of living,Kigali is not that much expensive according to the other countries . security,beautful,cleanness and many entertainment activities make this city famous and friendly as well. for these i would like to recommend this city for everyone(studenyts,tourists) who want to stay/visit/study in this country

What is the student lifestyle like in Kigali?

student life is normal. sometimes you can find opportunty to work. they don't ask for work permit for stuents.

How much does it cost to live in Kigali?

the first thing which can cost you alot is accomodation. food and others basic needs are not expensive.the are jusr normal.300 dollars(i am nor very sure about that,it is astimation but they can be less)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kigali? Is there any advice you can give?

to find accomodation is not difficult. you can find different organisation which can help you to get any house you want according to your wallet.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

As the other tropical countries you csn find there many types of fruits and vegetables.Popular local dishes include goat kebabs (brochettes) and grilled/fried tilapia fish. İn Rwanda everyday's meals consist of beans,vegetables and sometimes meats.My favourite meals are meat stews served with ugali, a stiff porridge made with maize meal and Chapatti (flat bread), rice and potatoes. YUMMY

What places would you recommend visiting in Kigali?

There are different places to visit in Kigali,Ntional museums,night clubs forest ,......

Is it good to eat out in Kigali? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Most of my favourite spots are located outside of Kigali. the first one akagera national parc(lookalike Eastafrican safari tour),the other ones are the shores of kivu lake. etc...,can find alot of islands to visits which are located in KİVU lake

Is the nightlife good in Kigali? Where is good to go?

famous places to visit in night while you are in Rwanda(Kigali) are bars and nighclubs). but also you find other places to visit/GO TOO.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kigali?

As long as you can speak english or french(which not that famous),Swahili and Kinyarwanda is recommended(joking,good but is very difficult for foreigners) ,and ofcourse as long as you hav some money to help yourself as well ,you will have the unforgetable moment in KİGALİ.
