What is it like to live in Kielce? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Kielce is a city located in the southern central part of the Polish capital of Province. Located in the Holy Cross Mountains on the river Silnica. Kielce is a medium-sized city, here lives about 200, 000 inhabitants.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kielce?

Students who choose to party have a lot of discounts, for example in some clubs the entry is free, and for example beer costs 5 PLN. If someone wants to enjoy the surroundings, they can take a trip to Kraków, Warszawa- I recommend to do this trip in the weekend. Besides in Kielce compared to other cities, they are more theaters, cinemas, galleries, swimming pools, long bicycle path, lagoon. On the outskirts of Kielce to explore the sights are Gołoborze, Łysica- the highest peak in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains with a height of 611. 8 m. How much does it cost to live in Kielce?

Prices are not overwhelming. So I think, that if a European come to Kielce with euros, they lose less than in other countries. When it comes to flat rates, they are different, but you can rent 2 bedroom for 330 PLN per person/ month in the centre.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kielce? Is there any advice you can give?

There are several dormitories, for example „Proton”, „Odyseja”, „Fama”. Besides this, there are many apartments for rent: Rent a house.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love pieroghi and I recommend this place Pierogarnia.

Except that in the centre there are many pizzerias and restaurants, for example Moltobene, Pod Herbami, Plejada - suuuuper.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kielce?

Is the nightlife good in Kielce? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is OK. I recommend to go to Kosmos club ( this club and do bowling together), Pomarańcza club, Bling, Euforia... There are many places where you can spend money.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kielce?

I think that future students that will stay in Kielce will be happy. People are friendly. When it comes to teachers are understanding and willing to help.
