Experience in University of Kent , United Kingdom by Megan
Generally, what is University of Kent like?
Kent is a very multinational university compared to the rest of the UK, with communities and societies to suit every type of individual. It's a great space with plenty to do, and great transport to many different places (an hour and a half to London, less than an hour to dover to catch a ferry, 30 minutes to the beach)
What are the facilities like?
The facilities at Kent are good; many things are accessible if you actively look for it
What are the tutors like?
The tutors are generally very decent and care about your education, however this definitely varies.
Are the lessons easy in University of Kent ?
This is course-dependent, but I generally believe they try to push you as much as possible.
Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?
The Kent Student's Union organize many fun activities (such as ball, sports events etc), whereas the university offers more professional activities such as work fairs, wellbeing festivals etc
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
This is course dependent, but generally I think it is okay and depends on who is teaching you, how much you interact with your teacher, and how much you as a student put in.
