KazNTU is a leading technical university in Kazakhstan. It looks old and doesn´t impress for first look, but it has one of the most experienced teaching team with a real industrial practice an strong knowledge of theory. Alo this university as a lot of connections with leading industrial companies of Kazakhstan and all other foreign companies that works on the territory of Kazakhstan.

What are the facilities like?

Facilities are pretty good. Ofcourse it could be better, but these days university spends a lot of time and money to develope it in collaboration with the partners like Siemens and Schlumberger.

What are the tutors like?

Tutors are mainly young specialists with industrial experience and some part are the professors of oldschool in the best traditions of fundamentalism of soviet union.

Are the lessons easy in Kazakh National Technical University 'K.I. Satpaev'?

Its demanding and pretty chalenging.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Ys, of course. KazNTU has very rich students life in culture, storts and professional clubs. I would mention the SPE students chapter, which held 3 times best SPE student chapter in the world award.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes, I´m sure that it is. Because all the graduates from this university goes working directy to the field and tey have no right to be wrong.
