What is the student lifestyle like in Kassel?
For students is really ideal ambiance because it is extremely safe, quiet, very easy to transport all over around. The University of Kassel is almost in the middle of the city...
How much does it cost to live in Kassel?
The cost of living depends on what you're looking for, I honestly can't give an exact number! The only thing I can say about the accommodation is that it is not less than 400€.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kassel? Is there any advice you can give?
It's really preferred to start looking before 2 months to get a good price!
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is quite good, a lot of German and Italian restaurants... Favorite dishes: pizza and often potatoes.
What advice would you give future students heading to Kassel?
For future Erasmus, it's an opportunity to learn German because the language is so clear (Hochdeutsch=High German) and to live the German culture and mentality.
It would really be a great experience!
