Karabuk City

Karabük city occupies a privileged position in the western Black Sea region of northern Turkey, about 200 km north of Ankara. Karabuk is now the leading industrial center in Turkey for the production of iron and steel, where an iron and steel plant was established in 1939, and is one of the first factories established in Turkey in this area, the city has witnessed rapid growth and evolved tremendously in a short period.

The city has its own resources of white marble and limestone.It is also famous for its coal industry.There are also chemical plants that produce sulfuric acid and phosphate.It is one of the Turkish cities with the largest forest area.It is full of pine forests and has a huge variety of different trees. It is also characterized by a variety of natural and historical tourist attractions scattered in each corner.

1 - Tokatlı Valley
The magnificent Tokatli Valley is located in the village of Tokatli, about 2 km from Safranbolu. When you arrive at the entrance to the valley you can buy entrance tickets for only 3 TL and start the wonderful adventure.

This place is like a piece of paradise with its charming nature and green color surrounding the place and the sound of the purified water of nerves and the high oxygen rate refreshing to the body, not only that, but there are places to rest if you are tired of the hardship of walking, and a little ahead there is a place to breed horses where you can ride and tour.

2 - Crystal Terrace (Kristal Teras)

4 - Bulak Mencilis Mağarası

6 - Cinci Hanı ve Hamamı
This archaeological khan is located in Safranbolu. Built by "Hussein Effendi" nicknamed "Genji Khoja" in 1645 AD. It is one of the archaeological buildings indicating the beauty of Ottoman architecture. It was a resting place for merchants coming to or passing through the city, consisting of two floors and 63 rooms, and was once restored. Today it is used as a hotel, and you can drink tea in its courtyard.

7 - The village of Yörük
It is located 20 km from the city of Safranbolu, Yoruk Village is one of the most beautiful landmarks of Ottoman architecture with its narrow alleyways and its 300-year-old timbered old houses. UNESCO declared it an archaeological area and inscribed it on Turkey's World Heritage List in 1997.

8 - Safranbolu houses
