What is it like to live in Kalisz? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

If you like a small and quiet cities it will be perfect for you. There's a few nice parks you can enjoy. Kalisz is not kind of city full with life :D Not many clubs (I guess 2) or pubs.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kalisz?

It is not bad. But I guess the best option is to live in dorm because rent prices for flats are high.

How much does it cost to live in Kalisz?

It's hard to say. For a modest life I would say 1200 would be enough. (not much parties, living in dorm) But if you like parties and traveling of course it will be way more.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kalisz? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it's not. If you are looking for a flat or room for rent I would recommend to look on the Internet. If you want to be in dorm see our university website.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is good! My favorite of course dumplings :)

Is it good to eat out in Kalisz? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

For students the best and the cheapest place (I think) is POMIDOR, which is located very close to uni. They are selling mostly pasta meals, toasties, soups etc.

Is the nightlife good in Kalisz? Where is good to go?

Totally not good! there s not many parties. Streets are empty after 9pm :) It is really calm city.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kalisz?

I would say do not expect so much from that city :D

Choose Poznań if you want to have fun. ;)
