i choosed kajaani becasuse the courses were thought in english

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

the sholarship is about 6 months.they gave me 500 euro per months.half before and half after my return.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kajaani?

kajaani is a village, not a city. for these reasons evrybodies knew each others in the campus and we were a like family.during the weekend we went always to the club and organised parties.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Kajaani to other students?

yes i reccommand it.

What is the food like?

about the food, nothing special.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Kajaani?

the international student office of the university booked me a room in the campus.

How much does it cost to live in Kajaani?

i used to spend like 500-600 euro per month including the rent for the apartment

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

yes of course there are.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Kajaani from your city?

by airplane

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kajaani?

to onnela that is a club.

i reccomend torero.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

voukatti and of course the village of santaclaus

i doesen't matter the size of the city, but the quality of people you are sharing the experience with. In kajaani i defenetly had my best experience in my life, and after thrre years i m still in touch with some friend i met there....
