What is it like to live in Jos? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Living in Jos is lovely, because the life in the city is simple. Yes, I would recommend the city to foreigners. The city is blessed with the gift of nature, the land is rich for agriculture, and also rich in mineral resources. The people are warm and accommodating.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jos?

The student lifestyle is interesting, because the city is conducive for learning. There are less distractions in the city. And life is simple.

How much does it cost to live in Jos?

With 300 Euros, a student can comfortably live in Jos.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Jos? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding accommodation in Jos is not difficult, because people invest in building off campus hostels for students at different ranges of prices. The advice is that, students should do proper findings before paying for accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Jos is a city that is rich in terms of foods. Most of the foods grown in Jos are distributed to other parts of Nigeria. My favorite dishes are the traditional foods like: gwete(porridge), rice and beans, tuwo, salads, and grilled fish.

What places would you recommend visiting in Jos?

Lounges, wild life park, stadium, cultural centers, and amusement parks.

Is it good to eat out in Jos? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, it is good to eat out in Jos. In Jos, there are restaurants and fast food joints that offer different dishes for customers' delight. My favourite sport is football.

Is the nightlife good in Jos? Where is good to go?

The night life in Jos is gradually picking up, after the crises which the city experienced in the past.

What advice would you give future students heading to Jos?

My advice to future students is that they should not hesitate to come to the city with the mindset of staying back after graduating. The city offers a lot of business opportunities, especially in the areas of tourism.
