What is it like to live in Jelenia Gora? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's a quite place to live in not so crowded it has a very beautiful nature specially in the Forests, not big city but its good , everything is kind of close so you don't need much transportation.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jelenia Gora?

Students here are not so open to other foreigners so the other students should make the move to meet them, but once you have friends they take you on tours show you some beautiful things on poland ,hang out , clubbing , travel around Poland ..

How much does it cost to live in Jelenia Gora?

It's not so much if you want to live in dorms
Single room is 130 Euro- shared room 90 Euro
You need 400 Euro per month ,even you might have extra money cause they use PLN.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Jelenia Gora? Is there any advice you can give?

For accommodation its easy to find dorms even apartments
If you want to live in apartment you should share so it would be cheaper I don't have so much information about apartments cause I live in dorms,
But to run away from the bills and house responsibility I recommend dorms it's better even for meeting other students.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is not bad it has lots of meet
But my favorite is periogi it's meet potato inside dumplings all in some kind of red sweet sauce .

What places would you recommend visiting in Jelenia Gora?

I would recommend metafora its a pub in the city center also warka its a sport bar also city center
For clubbing mess or street its close to city center too,
Also I would recommend going forests but you need a guide for that.

Is it good to eat out in Jelenia Gora? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes its good there's a restaurant in the nowy rynek mall for polish food it has a discount for students don't remember it's name,
Also Sorrento is nice food in the city center,
American burger they have nice burgers , I love pizza they have nice ones too , warka they have really nice pizza also metafora they have nice food

Is the nightlife good in Jelenia Gora? Where is good to go?

There's the two best clubs mess and street and they are kind of close to each other but for polish music there's a club called piwnica

What advice would you give future students heading to Jelenia Gora?

Make the first move to meet people go around Poland ,karpash is really nice for skiing , taste their food
