What is it like to live in Jeddah? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Jeddah is a very nice city in saudi arabia. Doe its culture and multinationality people. Not to forget the most beautiful sea in the world: the red sea, and its beach resorts. During the winter season hiking the deserte is always a pleasure.

What is the student lifestyle like in Jeddah?

Normal lifestyle a student can totally be 100% focused on studies due to lack of night life.

How much does it cost to live in Jeddah?

Recently with added taxes, jeddah became a rather expensive city.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Jeddah? Is there any advice you can give?

Not difficult, but due to some rules single males would find difficulties.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Yum food. Chicken/ Meat Mandi dish is a must try! Also the most famous saudi chain place: Al Baik, is diffently a must. Also Shawarma places and many much more. All mediternean restaurant are yum.

What places would you recommend visiting in Jeddah?

KAUST, KAEC, Red Sea, Beach resorts la plage indigo and oia, Al Balad (old jeddah city), hiking deserts, king fahad water fountain, Jeddah water front corniche.

Is it good to eat out in Jeddah? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes 100% good.

Is the nightlife good in Jeddah? Where is good to go?

The night life in Jeddah is strict, some nights you may find a concert or a party, or a small gathering.

What advice would you give future students heading to Jeddah?
