25 year old foreign girl looking for accomodation in Istanbul, preferible, close to Bilgi University

Me and a friend are going on a bilateral semester of study in Bilgi University, so we are looking for accommodation close to Santral Campus, or close to the transportation that takes us to the university or a metro station close to campus. We were hoping to rent a flat with a roomie and both of us, we wanted separate rooms, or we could also be interested in living in a students dorm.

We are willing to pay between 200 and 250 euro each for each room. (We need two rooms, one for him one for me.) either in a shared flat or a students dorm.

Also any other information or advice about the city, the language, travel tips, or anything at all that could be helpful is very much welcome.
