20 year old Italian guy looking for a room in Istanbul

Hey, my name is Josh and I am a student of Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Edinburgh. I come from a mixed Italian, Welsh and French background. I'm mostly Italian though, and am originally from Florence. My favourite things in the world are culture - I am fascinated about different cultures, histories, languages and peoples - and adventure - I love travelling as well as simply going outdoors and exploring. My other hobbies include basketball and football, reading, drawing, listening to music and spending time with friends. 

I study at the University of Edinburgh but I am set to come to Istanbul in the second term of the 2016-2017 year (will be studying at Bogazici University) and I am looking for a room to rent/flat to share. I'm a chill guy and I don't really have any preferences as concerns roommates or types of accomodation. If anything I'd just like to find a place not too far from campus. My price ceiling is about 450 euros/1500 turkish liras, so I'll consider anything below that. If anyone has pets, I like animals so not to worry (got a collie dog at home). I have lived in Turkey in the past, but that was in middle school and I don't really know any Turkish (although I would love to learn!). I do speak English though, as well as Italian (if anyone might be interested in learning a bit of Italian I'd be more than happy to teach) and a bit of Persian.
