Road from airport Sabiha to the campus

Hi!! I'm a student from Romania who's gonna study in Istanbul (University of Istanbul, Faculty of Public Administration) for the spring semester. Is anyone else coming to the airport Sabiha on the 8th of february? Or can someone help me with getting from the airport to the dorm where I'm supposed to stay?

Hello!

First of all, i hope you will enjoy istanbul during your stay. So, airport sabiha is in the anatolian side of istanbul, and the campus of University of İstanbul is in Europian Side, at Beyazıt. You should tell me which dorm you will stay during this period. But i am sure about one thing you should eventually go from the anatolian side to the europian side:) There are buses called HAVATAŞ. Its the cheapest way to go europian side for you. Otherwise taxi costs much more expensive because europian side is far from airport sabiha aproximately 40-50 km. Anyway, when you exit the airport, you will find buses called HAVATAŞ. There will be 2 buses actually. One goes to Kadıköy(this is in anatolian part, do not get on it), other one goes to TAKSİM( you should get on it:)). this will cost you aproximately 10-15₺. As i told you, for rest i need to know where you stay but in anyway, when you reach taksim you can take a cab to bring you to where you stay. it will be cheaper in this way.

Hii! I'm a student from Barcelona and I have the same issue. I will arrive on January the 26th and I will have to go from Sabiha to the flat where I will be living, near Bogaziçi University.

Can anyone tell me which the best way to go there?  How much will it cost if I went there by taxi?

(I suppose the best option is taking HAVATAS to TAKSIM and then go to Bogaziçi as Neslihan said..)

Oriol, when you arrive taksim; if you want to choose public transportation, there is a bus which is 559C, it goes directly taksim to boğaziçi university. But first you need to buy a ticket called AKBİL then you gotta find bus station. Second option is taking a cab, it used to take 25-30₺ but i dont know exactly now.Good luck!
