Just the University alone.

What is the food like?

For me i don't like the foods so i just have to make do with chinese foods.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Irkutsk?

No

How much does it cost to live in Irkutsk?

Around 1000RUB a week. you have to always cook your food.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

NO. Its actually difficult learning the Russian language

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Irkutsk from your city?

By Flight. its not economical though.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Irkutsk?

Manhattan Lounge, Beer Man, Pizza sit out, Broad way, KFC, Theater and so many other places.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Irkutsk?

I'd say Chinese Restaurant except you want to try out some Russian food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Biakal, Angara Etc. so many.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Irkutsk in the future?

Just know what you are coming for and try to Mind your business.
