Generally, what is Hogeschool Utrecht University of Applied Sciences like?

It's a nice and great school but there are three things that they should fix/try to improve. First is the exam schedule, we have 2 weeks for all the exams in every term, but somehow this term exam's schedule is very terrible. We have 2 exams on Monday, 1 on Tuesday, 1 on Wednesday and then one more next week. Those first 3 exams have a lot of chapters and heavy subjects to study, the school could just give one day in between, instead, they put it like that. Second, the class schedule, we have a lot of gap from one class to the other class. Third, they should reserve more room for international in SSH or other places with cheap price since finding a room is hard in Utrecht especially when you're an international student.

What are the facilities like?

The facilities are great! They have a coffee machine in every building and almost on every floor, there is a printer, they also have a big and small coffee bar, reserve room to study, etc.

What are the tutors like?

The tutors are nice but they should be more considerate to their students. For example, all the lecturers for that term can discuss when their assignments deadline gonna be so that there won't be any assignment's deadline on the same day.

Are the lessons easy in Hogeschool Utrecht University of Applied Sciences?

I can say some of the subjects are easy and some are not. But the lecturer whether in lecture or tutorial class should be able to explain everything at least till we understand because some of the lecturers were just reading on what is in the presentation and I have to re-read everything again at home to understand the whole material of the chapter.

Does the University organize activities? If so, what are they like?

So far I only know about STIP.

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes, some teachers have a good quality of teaching, to the extent where I still remember the material from the class I attended because they have a good way on how to deliver the material to us.

But some teachers aren't good, as an example, they give us an assignment/project but they don't even know how to do that assignment/project.
