Generally, what is Hotelschool The Hague like?

It is a very high pressure, hard school. However it does deliver successful students who have passed all the rigorous exams and projects. Compared to all my friends' universities, Hotelschool The Hague is the hardest university with regard to amount of work, type of work, range of work and hours you have to put in.

What are the facilities like?

Amazing, Amsterdam campus has the most beautiful and up to date facilities.

What are the tutors like?

The majority are kind, supportive and inspiring. I loved about 80% of all my professors, they were always helpful and great teachers. However, to be honest, the english language level of about half of the teachers is poor. And a small amount of them are not understanding or helpful in class or well-being support.

Are the lessons easy in Hotelschool The Hague?

Not at all. Some are very fun and interesting and so are easier to enjoy, but nothing is easy. They are incredibly hard and require a lot of focus and hard work.

Does the University organize activities; what are they like?

The university doesn't, but the student associated of Comitas does an amazing job of organizing great parties and events for students.

Do you think the teaching is of a high quality?

I think the teachers expertise in their subjects are almost always incredible. You can tell that they have the qualifications and experience to teach what they are teaching, but I'd say overall the teaching quality, as in how to relay their knowledge to students, is about average.

Are there any stories you can share?

I was not supported well when I had to end my internship due to an illness, that was not a fond memory of my school. They did not take sexual harassment and bullying at work seriously and told me it was a 'cultural difference'. However this was only one teacher and I don't want to say the whole school would do the same. It was a great experience to be at Hotelschool the Hague.
