What is the student lifestyle like in Ho Chi Minh City?

Students in our country are very active. Outside school hours, they often join the club, go to work part time, participate in social activities... They are very hard to study and develop but they have some major weaknesses are their life skills, shyness, their foreign languages and autonomy in learning and work.

How much does it cost to live in Ho Chi Minh City?

Depending on how you choose the standard of living that would cost so different. The work that you have to do is search for information from google, facebook or those of you that you know in Vietnam, you can also look to the student assistance center. Then you need to find out about the apartment such as: the price,the space, the available equipment, the level of safety, distance to the supermarket, distance to school, Does it float in the rainy season,...

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Vietnam in general and HCM City in particular, the ciusine here is very excellent. Food is very diverse from Europe to Asia, even, the Vietnam food is very fresh and tasty. Most visitors who come to Vietnam are very impressed about the culture and cuisine here. I would love to eat the dish of Vietnam, it's delicious, sweet, tasty such as Bun Ca (fish noodle, crab noodle), MAM noodle, Canh Chua ... That is extremely unique dishes and unforgettable. Enjoy Viet Nam's dishes if you have a chance, don't miss them.

What places would you recommend visiting in Ho Chi Minh City?

In Vietnam has numerous scenic and interesting places. You absolutely can take time to explore them all. About Ho Chi Minh City, Although this place is mostly covered by the building, there are some different place. Most travelers choose them as a place to visit and all they are conquered because of beauty and its impressive. Such as: Duc Ba Cathedral, Independent Hall, the City People's Committee, Ben Thanh Market, Nha Rong terminal, the highest city bars in Bitexco and many places waiting for you to discover.

Is it good to eat out in Ho Chi Minh City? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You are absolutely comfortable to choose a place to eat out in the Ho Chi Minh city. From roadside to restaurant are very diverse. Some fast food stores in HCM city is very crowded and worth to think about. I often eat at roadside stalls, although it's small, the quality and hygiene is great. My hobby each weekend is that enjoy the delicious food stalls and then go to see the movies

Is the nightlife good in Ho Chi Minh City? Where is good to go?

Nightlife in Ho Chi Minh City is very busy and colorful. you can walk around the street in District 1, you may watch the city from above or at the bridge, it must be a wonderful experience. You should also spend peaceful moments for yourself at the some cafes stores, enjoying some strange and delicious dishes, go to the mall, go to the cinema, roaming with friends on the street by bike,... That's so fantastic.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ho Chi Minh City?

If you have a chance to learn and explore our country, I am sure you will never regret about that. There are so many foriegn students came here to do their graduate thesis, and they had some great times. Of course, wherever there are also negative aspects, as well in VietNam, for example: traffic can cause you mild shock when you first came here, the weather here is quite hot and quite humid in rainy season, sometimes vices such as fraud and robbery still happen (you should learn the culture here as thoroughly).
