It's an amazing and energetic city. It's the biggest and the most busy city of Vietnam. You can feel the heat from the normal life routine or even on the street full of bikes. There are many activities and foods to try there.

What is the student lifestyle like in Ho Chi Minh City?

Not so tough, not so bored. Students have enough time for class and also for other activities. Especially the increasingly thriving outdoor social events which are very catch-up with the world like marathon, EDM music events,...

How much does it cost to live in Ho Chi Minh City?

Average USD 300 per month depends on which district you rent the room.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City? Is there any advice you can give?

It's quite difficult to find a convenient, good room with affordable price. You can combine with other friends to rent a whole house for better bargain.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Amazing. This is just like heaven of street food, a mix of not only local food from other parts of Vietnam but also a meeting place of many other cultural cuisine over the world. My suggestion is "bánh tráng nướng" which is roasted ricepaper with many different types of topping and sauce.

Is it good to eat out in Ho Chi Minh City? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Of course, I'd love to have my favorite sushi dish at Sushi Bar.

Is the nightlife good in Ho Chi Minh City? Where is good to go?

Yes, however I didn't usually go for a bar at night, just hand out around the city or take a movie spot.

What advice would you give future students heading to Ho Chi Minh City?

You should find yourself a mentor to instruct you during the period living in Ho Chi Minh city. Honestly it's quite dangerous for a foreigner to get acquainted with the city lonely =)
