It's not a city you want to go to for a vacation. But if you want to live there, it's a nice safe city with an good environment

What is the student lifestyle like in Hønefoss?

Hønefoss has few students. Most of the students know each other and it is like living in a small town. Most people are friendly and say hi to everyone. As a student there are parties on some Thursdays and the weekends and a few sportactivities.

How much does it cost to live in Hønefoss?

I rented private for 4700 NOK (about 470 euro) and spent about 5000 on other stuff (easy to go down to 1500 on only food alone)

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Hønefoss? Is there any advice you can give?

No, quite easy. Studenthousing can be a smaller challenge, but most of International students get it

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Mine is meatballs with brown sausage

What places would you recommend visiting in Hønefoss?

Juvelen, the nightclub. Otherwise there is nothing much to see. Maybe go to the arena and follow the river trough the woods

Is it good to eat out in Hønefoss? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, lots of goodnplaces and a chineese restaurant that is amazing

Is the nightlife good in Hønefoss? Where is good to go?

In my eyes yes. I feel safe and there is lots of places to go out. NB! Bring valid ID
