Translator - English to Lithuanian

Scan-Plast is an international company that develops, produces and markets a wide range of different products made entirely or partially in fiber-reinforced composite materials. We thus market our products to a wide range of costumer segments and industries.

We are currently looking for a translator to provide translation, editing and proofreading of marketing materials from English to Lithuanian. 

Key duties

• Translate material from English to Lithuanian, e.g. brochures, datasheets, instructions and product texts for our websites. 
• Review translated material for accuracy of meaning, grammar and syntax.
• Create new texts in the target language that reproduces the content and style of the original.
• Any other duties as required.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• You have experience in translating from English to Lithuanian and preferably experience in using technical English.
• You have an advanced (C1) or proficiency (C2) level of English. 
• High standards of accuracy and consistency.
• You analyse complex information effectively and can independently evaluate from different perspectives in order to deliver optimal translations/solutions.
• You are motivated to contribute to the team both collaboratively as a team player and as an individual.  
• Knowledge of Danish is an advantage.

Working place 
It will be possible to work either from our office in Latvia, in Denmark or remotely.
