Next to offering help with trips, postcards, and other souvenirs, they have this crazy museum in the back. In this museum all kinds of arctic animals are shown, with videos and pictures. An experience in itself! So I would definetely recommend visiting this tourist information during your stay in Hammerfest. Furthermore, in Hammerfest, there is a beautiful spot to walk to up the mountain. A path will lead you to this gorgeous view over the city. Also a must do when in Hammerfest! Even when you have explored these two options, geocatching is something else to do as well. Download the application and off you go. It will let you walk through the city to find secret spots where a box is hidden. In this box, different objects are placed of people who have went geocatching as well. Sometimes you will find objects from all over the world. Very interesting and free!
