What is it like to live in Guntur? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Guntur is one the major cities having the hub of education. It's surrounded by enormous number of educational institutions.

What is the student lifestyle like in Guntur?

The student life will be pretty good with the resources they are having to lead a simple/student life. Their lifestyle basically consists of studying, roaming, eating etc.

How much does it cost to live in Guntur?

On an average it costs around INR 10,000/- per student i.e 130 euros for everything.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Guntur? Is there any advice you can give?

It's very easy to find an accommodation for single or group students. The rent is also very cheap.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food consists of biryani, rice, curries, tiffins like idly, dosa, chapathi, poori, vada etc. Snacks like pani puri, cakes etc also to be considered.

What places would you recommend visiting in Guntur?

There are no proper/certain places to visit. I can say that we can even visit Hyderabad(250 kms away from Guntur) or Vijayawada(30 kms away from Guntur) for good time pass.

Is it good to eat out in Guntur? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

There are plenty number of spots to eat in Guntur. Almost all the places have their own unique style/identity. Viceroy biryani is my fav spot for biryani, many places for morning breakfast, Lunch at sahaja mess and ganesh fast food for evening/night food, Ajmeer biryani for midnight food.

Is the nightlife good in Guntur? Where is good to go?

There's no nightlife in Guntur. This is a major advantage/disadvantage.

What advice would you give future students heading to Guntur?

The best place to live with minimum expenses. Even We can survive with 2 euros per day for food. Education can be achieved in all major streams.
