Experience in the University of Gothenburg, Sweden by Arthur
Why did you choose to go to Gothenburg, Sweden?
Mainly because the quality of teaching is excellent (this university has triple certification).
The university is really great, the buildings are new, the spaces inside the university are very nice!. I love it!
What are the facilities like?
In general very good, the university restaurant is good but very expensive, the library is very beautiful and you also have many spaces for students.
What are the tutors like?
They're generally good.
Are the lessons easy in the university of Gothenburg?
Honestly, it's not easy, but the explanations and the teaching projects are very good from my point of view; and yes, besides we study, it won't be so difficult. Something I discovered and I think is a good learning system is that there is a lot of discussion in each topic and working groups which I think is very good.
Does the university organize activities? If so, what are they like?
Each student is affiliated with a group of friends where they have many activities that in some way are to the liking of the student. For example: treasure hunts, pub crawls, parties, sports activities and so on. You also have many organized trips with Sweden's University Abroad (like a trip to Lapland, Stockholm, etc. ) or within Europe (trip to Russia, weekend in Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, etc. )
Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?
Sure!. The quality of the teaching is excellent, but I can only talk about the area of law.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to in the future
I advise you to apply for student accommodation in the residences proposed by the University because it is almost impossible to find an apartment here. In addition, you will be in the student residences so that you have the opportunity to create a group of friends from all over the world, it really is a wonderful experience.
