18 year old student, looking for a room in Gothenborg

Hi, I'm Oliver and 18 years old. I just graduated from International School Ruhr in Essen, Germany. Since my bachelors programme at GU will begin the 30th of August, I am looking for a room for rent somewhere in the city for a while.

Ethnically I am half Chinese and half German, was born in Munich and lived my whole life in Germany.

My English is fluent as the highschool I graduated from taught all subjects in English. My native language is German but I do speak Chinese on a basic level i.e. small talk. I have plans to learn swedish asap and generally love the nature of Sweden. I've been to Värmland before because of my passion of camping and hiking. Besides of hiking I also love to ride the bike.

In my leisure time I love to read Sci-Fi and Self-improvement books and love to play Tabletop games (mostly fantasy-themed ones) if I get the chance. Before the coronavirus pandemic I played tabletennis consecutively for 7 years, but since all clubs closed in Germany, I practice calisthenics at home or at the next fitness park twice a week.

I'm generally a very organized person and fairly quiet.

My favourite food is - of course - from the asian cuisine. Personally, I love to make the dish "Hotpot" everytime we celebrate at home, which is some kind of fondue, but made in chinese style. I also often cook different chinese noodle soups when I am home alone and make my own dumplings when we celebrate special days in the chinese calendar. Chilli is the spice I love most, so please don't be surprised if you find me planting some manzano chillies at some point.

I mostly listen to EDM in spring, Tropical House in the summer, Indie in autumn and Jazz in Winter.
