Why did I choose Goa for my vacation?
If you are beach lover and tired of cold weather, want to relax in tropical weather, taste most amazing seafood, lying on the beach with some wine, you should come to Goa. Goa is surrounded by beautiful mountains and beaches, there is so much to explore, and there are so many ways to do it. Goa is best place to simply lay down on sand and relax, do some water sporting, treking, or hire a bike and explore all the places, after all of this you still want more, go to casinos, clubs, and beach parties with your friends and lover.
Where is Goa and How to reach it?
Goa is situated in south-west coaslands of india with coastline connected to arabian sea. Goa has only one international airport in Dabolim city. So if you are foreigner you can directly come here, if you are indian you can come by car or train too.
How do I find place to live?
You can easily book hotel online from internet, or by calling to the hotel after you find one on internet. There are so many good hotels, resorts, and if you want more luxurious, there are 5 star hotels too. You can choose any of them depend on your budget. If you want to stay more then just few days you can rent a villa or beach houses, or apartments. You can find them on internet. If you are choosing villa or house for more days just make a deal of your rent so you don't have to face in trouble when you leave.
Transport and People
If you are a person who like to drive and want to explore, you can hire bike and scooter or bicycle too. It is very cheap and best way to roam around in Goa, you just need to give your driving licence copy if you hiring a bike or scooter. Don't want to drive by yourself? Dont worry you can hire car, or just use local cabby, buses are always there. My suggestion is too hire a bike, you can go anywhere, anytime.
Poeple of Goa are very humble and good with foreigners but not much good with other indian tourist from other states, this is my personal experience. but in last if you are good with them they will be good with you.
Food and Fun
Seafood is speciality of Goa. If you love seafood, then this is your heaven. Local famous dishes are Fish curry and Prawn curry. You will find seasfood in every single restaurant. There are so many good restaurants in Goa. My personal favourite is "a reverie", and "spice goa". You can find good beaf dishes and chicken dishes as well.
Except food goa is famous for it's alcohol. There are so many good bars and night clubs which servers best quality wines, beers and all other alcohol you want. Local Kaju ( cashew) wine is very famous in Goa.
Night life
Night life in Goa is amazing experience. Night clubs, bars, beach clubs, casinos, beach parties and so many more things here to spend your night. They say Goa comes alive in night. If you are party animal, you are in right place. Beers and babes is very easy to find here. If you want to try to hand in poker, you can go to casino. Party never stops in Goa.
My experience in Goa
I lived in Goa for six months and i really enjoyed here. sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and so much to explore. I was living in a big bunglow with my 6 friends sharing rent and it was cheap. As i said above i just had few bad experiences with local people and same thing happend to my friends and other people i knew, but only with indians, they are very good with foreigners. So my advice go to goa, enjoy, explore, party.
