22 year old and 26 year old girls, looking for accomodation in Glasgow (willing to share room/bed)
- Move in date: 11 September 2017
- Minumum stay: 12 months
I'm a twenty-two-year-old American graduate student recently accepted into the University of Glasgow's Ancient Cultures program. My friend, age twenty-six, was also accepted into the school's Medieval and Renaissance Studies program (we got lucky like that). Because of cheapness and the general daunting reality of relocating, we'd really rather stay together. Sharing a room or even a double/queen bed isn't much of an issue for us. We did once live in a hotel room together for a semester (kind of illegally).
We're pretty flexible, obviously. We're good with pets (especially cats), and we're used to not having a lot of space, so we'll take anything from a shared room to a studio. Our only real requirements are that the place is furnished and it's near public transportation. Preferably it has internet and is located near a pharmacy. In a shared space, we're always willing to chip in for cooking and cleaning (we're pretty excellent cooks). We're both quiet.
Personally, I get along with just about anyone. I speak Puerto Rican Spanish and a little French and Hebrew. I'm Jewish, but not really practicing. I really, really, really like books, and also watch way too much Netflix. I've lived for the past five years with 2+ roommates, and I've never had a problem with any of them. (My friend speaks Italian, is sort-of Jewish, and will read anything ever involving Anne Boleyn)
