Anthony Collier was born in Houston and raised in Manor, TX. Anthony is currently a Senior at Texas Southern University, majoring in political science. He is the first person in his family to receive a college education. In June of 2017, Anthony made history as the youngest person to ever be appointed to the S.H.A.P.E. Community Center, Inc. Executive Board of Directors. He also won 1st place at the International Competition for Entrepreneurs in Montego Bay Jamaica.
Anthony has traveled abroad several times, visiting Israel, Spain, Ghana, and Cuba. Anthony has interned for Bracewell LLP, U.S. Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee, and served in the Texas Legislative Internship Program as a Criminal Justice Policy Analyst for Senator Borris Miles. Anthony is very involved in student life at TSU, he was elected by his peers into the Student Government Association and was a proud member and scholarship recipient of the Thomas F. Freeman Speech and Debate Team.
Anthony was awarded a full-ride scholarship from Rotary International to receive a Master of Law and Economics from Cairo University (CU) in Giza, Egypt. Anthony is seeking accommodation in Giza while receiving his education. He is scheduled to move to Giza and begin his program in September of 2018. Anthony prefers apartment or dorm style living. He is not seeking any roommates.
