Why did you choose to go to Genoa, Italy?

I choose Genova because of my curiosity.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My scholarship is 4 months long. 500 EUR per month. Enough for food, but not for travel.

What is the student lifestyle like in Genoa?

Pretty cool. I like it. A lot of positive and free minded people.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Genoa to other students?

Of course I will.

What is the food like?

The food is very good, healthy and tasty.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Genoa?

It cost me time. I did find my housing on internet.

How much does it cost to live in Genoa?

For me more than 500 EUR per month. Well is up to everyone, but if you want to do many interesting things you definitely need more.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The courses are fine.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Genoa from your city?

I choose the airplane. Bucharest to Milano, Then by bus Milano-Genova. In total I think it will be like 80 EUR (both ways).

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Genoa?

It depends of your interests. You can go to see the stars at the Genova planetarium or to party in Time.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Genoa?

Well I don't really like the restaurants, I prefer to make my own food. But if somebody is interested in restaurants there is always the internet, just go on goolge.it type Restaurants in Genova and you'll find a lot.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are a lot of museums to visit.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Genoa in the future?

Genova is a big city that deserves your attention for sure. Just DO IT! Enjoy every moment anywhere you choose to go!
