Easy-going PhD student looking for accommodation in/near Geneva

Beter late than never! I'm currently looking for affordable accommodation in/around Geneva as I'll be starting as a PhD student in neuroscience at the University of Geneva next month.
I'm a 28 year old guy from Utrecht, the Netherlands, with a background in psychology, cognitive neuropsychology and neuroscience. I'm easy-going, clean and used to sharing an apartment/house with other people as I have lived together with flat mates for the last 10 years (both in the Netherlands and abroad).
Besides science I'm into all kinds of sports (e.g. cycling, rock climbing, hyking, snowboarding, running) and busy myself with photography, reading, going out with friends and the like.
