24 year old UN intern looking for accommodation in Geneva

I'm a 24 year old British student of Human Rights at Sciences Po, Paris. I'm doing my internship at the OHCHR in Geneva, and I'm looking for a place to stay for the duration (June to September).
I'm an outgoing and sociable person, but I'm also clean and tidy. I enjoy art and culture, and am keenly improving my french language skills. I'm a keen photographer, and I like exploring new places, reading, and swing dancing.
I am simply looking for a room or apartment within my budget (no more than 1000 CHF per month), somewhere in Geneva or close by in neighbouring France if the commute isn't difficult! I'm very easy going about everything else.
