22 year old art student, looking for a room in Gdansk

I will study in ASP (Academia of Fine Arts) in Gdansk from February till June.
I am looking for a room to rent in a shared flat. I am searching for a quiet place where I could read and work, but with roommates who also like to party when the time comes !
I'd like to be located in a high living quarter of Gdansk, even by night, where I can easily and quickly join bars, meet in concerts, etc. I'm not fond of clubs, but more in alternative or pretty underground night life in the city.
I like cooking, I'm a vegetarian and I can make some really good food for my roommates ! ;)
I smoke but not that much, I really listen to a lot of music, and I'm a quick one in the shower.
