What is it like to live in Gaborone? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Gaborone is the capital city of Botswana, the population is manageable, the people are peacefull and motivated. Most spoken language is Tswana language. It is a mixed cultural city and the people around here adapt to quickly to changes. The fear of Covid 19 is very high and the people obey the rules set up to reduce the spread of covid. It is a good place for investment because the city is developing and more opportunities are there as the population is not that conjusted.the city gets really active during the nights. It would be a bad idea to visit the neighbourhoods at night for starters because the people can realise new faces around town. The city is safe for every visitor during the day. I would recommend Gaborone for investment opportunities , if you are looking to grow your businesses Gaborone can be a good target for expansion

In the city ,yes its difficult but the outskats will never disappoint, the only expenses wipp be transport even though some outskirts lack facilities

Depends on the visitors choice but outskirting farms are the best for tourism

The people have their own way of living and enjoying their nights you just need to get along with it.the surbubs are the most safest to be at night but in terms of activity there's more in the city centre

What advice would you give future students heading to Gaborone?

Gaborone life is simple and cheap. And if you meet the right people you might want to be here forever
