Weather and prices are the downsides of Copenhagen in general. The sun will shine brightly, it will rain heavily and suddenly it gets dark and gloomy - all within noon. That is why Copenhageners are always prepared. I would definitely recommend this place and there is a lot of activity going on here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Frederiksberg?

Copenhagen Business School is located in Frederiksberg, in fact it is located opposite to the Frederiksberg Centre. The Metro Trains connect Frederiksberg to popular locations in Copenhagen.

How much does it cost to live in Frederiksberg?

Expect a double bedroom apartment to cost you anywhere between 8000 DKK and 15000 DKK depending on facilities available and/or expected.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Frederiksberg? Is there any advice you can give?

It is generally difficult to find accommodation in Copenhagen, let alone affordable accommodation. My advice would be to visit the city if possible to finalise a house that suits your needs. If that is not possible then register with one of the housing websites - some are free while others require a small fee - and it is worth investing as this could eventually help you find a place. Beware there are scams !

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I am a vegetarian and hence have very limited options but I have noticed that people without specific dietary requirements have plenty of options. Also the breads in Copenhagen are pretty popular and the variety is unbelievable. The pastries and croissants are amazing as well. To sum it up, if you can cook then there are no problems at all. If you would like to eat out all the time, expect it to cost you a lot of money.

Is the nightlife good in Frederiksberg? Where is good to go?

I haven't really had the chance to experience the nightlife yet but Copenhagen is known for its active nightlife and Frederiksberg is no stranger to that. There are cheap and entertaining options for those interested in hanging out after 10.

What advice would you give future students heading to Frederiksberg?

Expect a crazy weather pattern, but the weather reports are pretty accurate. Also enjoy the beautiful city and its warm people.
