Art Student, 26 years old, looking for accommodation in Firenze

I will be moving to Florence in September (specific dates are still flexible, but it should be BY September 7th at the latest) for a two year art program near the city center.  I don't speak Italian (yet) but I do speak Japanese.  ぺらぺらじゃないのにしゃべれるよ〜

I'm a non-smoker and prefer non-smoking roommates, I'm allergic to animals (although I love 'em), friendly, prefer to cook meals at home, and pretty much need wifi to survive. 

I'll be pretty flexible on what kind of room I decide on after taking rent and location into consideration, meaning I would prefer a single room to myself but will take a shared room if it happens to be very nice.  Don't hesitate to contact me for any questions you might have : )
