47-year old lady studying in Florence looking for a one bedroom or studio apartment in the city centre.

I'm looking for a nice small apartment or studio flat as near to the centro historico as possible.  I am studying Italian at a school in the city centre.  I would need the flat definitely from March 5th until April 9th 2017 but possible much longer, as I'd like to stay in Florence.  I am from the UK and write and study history.  I have completed three years of a history Phd at the University of London, and studied the Italian Renaissance for a year as part of my history degree.  I am a quiet person and the purpose of my trip is to further my history and Italian studies, and perhaps in the future to work in Florence.  I would love to make friends in Florence and enjoy everything it has to offer.  I love dancing, walking, travel, yoga and meditation.  I am flexible with the monthly rent, depending on the apartment and whether it includes utilities.
