20 year old American student looking for accommodation in Firenze

I'm an artistic and friendly American student who will be studying in Florence at the Lorenzo de' Medici Instituto from the end of August to mid-December, and I'm looking for a place to rent. I'm looking for a single room to rent in a shared apartment or a studio apartment. I'd prefer to be close to the Historical downtown area of Florence so I'll be close to my school and classes. I speak English and a little bit of Spanish and Italian, but I'd love to live with people who'd help me improve!
